You can safely give this book to your children and grandchildren. Unlike many fantasy novels, The Stoneholding does not stray down any occultish or questionable pathways. The story is governed by an overarching morality that doesn’t squelch the story or demean the reader. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue reading the book or to encourage others to do the same.
